Instructor: Monica Palafox

Students will work on developing the fun and practical skills of Keyboarding and Computer Programming/Coding. Once students have gained the skills necessary to type, students can then advance into coding and LEGO building, on which they can then practice through a teacher led computer program that will allow students to input the commands which their LEGO-robotic build will respond to. In this way, students will continuously experiment with and expand their ability to apply the coding and programs they are learning.

Los estudiantes trabajarán en el desarrollo de habilidades divertidas y prácticas de mecanografía y programación de computadoras. Cuando los estudiantes ya hayan aprendido estas habilidades, entonces podrán avanzar a crear con bloques de LEGO, a los cuales podrán aprender a aplicar codificación por un programa de computadoras que será guiado por la maestra. De esta manera los estudiantes podrán experimentar el cómo hacer que sus creaciones de LEGO respondan con movimientos que ellos programaron.
